The original Tamagotchi was first introduced in Japan in 1996 and was a huge craze. It wasn't long before Bandai introduced it to Europe and North America where the craze grew further. By late 1998 and 1999, the fad has began to die out. Tamagotchi products became rarer to find until production was stopped altogether. Despite many fans pleading for Bandai to create a new Tamagotchi, they refused for years, until 2004 when they were reintroduced with many new features. They created hundreds of new characters as well as bringing some of the older ones back. These new and improved Tamagotchi were called 'The Tamagotchi Connection' in America, 'Tamagotchi Plus' in Japan and 'Tamagotchi Connexion' in the United Kingdom, and Europe. - Tamagotchi Connection. Dated 2004 Bandai Wiz. Cosmetic info: A yellow & green colored casing with camo design. It has it's battery cover and the screw that hold it in place. Working Condition: tested and in good working condition.
- The Tamagotchi Connection V2 built upon the original Connection (Connexion/Plus) with the additional of the Gotchi Point system allowing you to purchase items in-game. Like the V1, the V2 lacks the antenna featured on the V3 through V5.5, so telling them apart at a glance can be tricky. Beige w/ Butterflies.

Tamagotchi Connection has some special functions! 1- It can communicate with other Tamagotchi friends, play games, and exchange gifts. If you find a compatible friend, you can even raise several generations of Tamagotchi. Surface pro keyboard is not working. 2- You can store up to 50 friends' names in your Tamagotchi friend list!
